Awongalema
Once upon a time, in the extremely hot, desert-like part of Africa, there was no food or water. The animals were desperate for food and were starving hungry! They were gathered around the Acacia tree trying to remember the magic word that would fill up the tree with tasty fruits. The amazing rhino called Sparkles send crystal the cheetah up the mountain to talk to the wise old spirits.
Crystal sprinted as quickly as she could all the way up the enormous rocky mountain. When she reached the top, she found the mysterious spirit cave full of creepy spider webs. Crystal called out to the spirits ‘’Mountain spirits, mountain spirits what's the magic word?’’ The spooky spirits yelled back ‘’ awongalema ‘’! ‘’ Great ‘’ Crystal said. So Crystal Started running as fast as her spotty legs could go! But she fall in a small ant hill. She had to get them off! It took a whole hour to take off all those little ants! She quickly ran so she could bring the magic word back. When she got back she forgot the magic word. Crystal tried and tried but she never got it rite. So Stripes the tiger said ‘’I will go!’’ So he went as fast as he could. We Stripes got to the top he said ‘’mountain spirits mountain spirits what’s the magic word?’’ ‘’Awongalema !’’ the creepy mountain spirits whspired . So Stripes went off, but he tripped on a tiny ant hill. Stripes had a hard time getting the dumb ants off. It took him 1 hour to take these dumb ants off. So he run back to the animals and said ‘’ I forgot the magic word. So the send the slow a study tortoise. He slowly went up the mountain and said to the old spirits and said ‘’what’s the magic word?’’ The spirits said ‘’ Awongalema.’’ So he went slowly down the mountain and around the ant hill and back to the animals.
The animals said ‘’what the magic word?’’ The slow tortoise said ‘’awongalema.’’ Then they said awongalema then the tree fueled with fraits. Then had a huge party! They ate, ate and ate all the food in till they were full.
Fast is not always the best but slow and steady works.
